The Short Version
We collect what a carrier needs to print your label, and not much else.
You can buy a label without an account. We don't sell your information to anyone. Addresses go to the carrier because a box can't be delivered without one. The rest of this page explains the details, in plain English, so you know exactly what happens to what you type into our forms.
1. What We Collect
1.1 Shipping details
USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL and Canada Post all require certain fields before they'll issue a label. So we ask for:
- Sender address: a name or alias, street, city, state, ZIP or postal code, and country
- Recipient address: name, street, city, state, ZIP or postal code, and country
- Package details: weight and box dimensions
- Phone number: only if you enter one for carrier delivery notices
1.2 Payment records
For each purchase we keep:
- Order ID: the reference you'd give support
- Payment currency: which coin you paid with, such as BTC or ETH
- Amount: the USD price and the crypto amount paid
- Status: whether the payment completed
We don't store your wallet addresses, your private keys, or your blockchain transaction history. We will never ask for a seed phrase. If anyone does, it isn't us.
1.3 Accounts (optional)
You don't need an account. If you make one, we store:
- Email address: for sign-in, account recovery and any notices you choose to receive
- Password: stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody on our side can read it
Prefer to stay a guest? Guest checkout gives you an order ID and recovery link so you can get your label back later.
1.4 Technical details
Like most websites, we see a little technical information when you visit:
- Device type: desktop or mobile
- Browser type: so pages display correctly
- Error logs: so we can find and fix things that break
1.5 Carrier and operational records
After a label is printed, carriers send information back to us. That can include tracking scans, delivery confirmations, address corrections, billing adjustments, void results, returns, claim updates, surcharges, service alerts, delivery exceptions and intercept results. We may store or refer to those records when we need them for order recovery, customer support, account credits, refund reviews, carrier billing reviews, fraud prevention, security, or keeping the service running.
We never open, inspect or see packages, and we don't know what's inside a box. Everything we hold comes from what you submit, payment events, carrier responses, tracking data, and messages you send to support.
2. How We Use It
Here's every reason we use your information:
- Making labels: shipping details go to the carrier you pick (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL or Canada Post) so it can issue a valid label.
- Confirming payment: payment details go to our crypto payment processor so it can confirm you paid.
- Delivering your order: showing your tracking number and label download.
- Support: answering you when you write in.
- Improving the site: using anonymous, combined numbers, never individual profiles.
We may also use information to enforce our Terms, stop misuse, protect carrier accounts, settle unpaid carrier adjustments, confirm a label is eligible, catch technical failures, block duplicate or fraudulent refund requests, investigate payment mismatches, and keep carrier services available for everyone else.
What we will never do with it:
- Sell it to third parties, advertisers or data brokers
- Send you marketing email unless you've opted in
- Build an advertising profile about you
- Hand it to social media platforms
3. How We Protect It
- Encrypted connections: every page and form on this site loads over HTTPS (TLS), so data between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit.
- Keeping less: we store as little personal information as we can and remove shipping details once they're no longer needed for order recovery, support, carrier operations, accounting or security.
- Established payment providers: crypto payments run through an established, security-audited payment processor rather than a homemade system.
- Limited access: only the people who operate the service can reach systems holding customer data.
- Hashed passwords: account passwords are hashed with a salted algorithm, so even we can't read them.
4. How Long We Keep It
Our rule is simple: keep data only as long as it's needed to provide, secure and support the service. Less data stored means less that could ever be misused.
- Guest orders: addresses and personal details are removed once they're no longer needed for order recovery, support, carrier operations, billing review, refunds, security or dispute handling.
- Accounts: kept while your account is open. You can ask us to delete it whenever you like.
- Transaction records: basic amounts and dates may stay in our books for accounting, with personal details removed.
- Recovery codes: guest recovery codes expire after 30 days.
Some records stay longer when we need them for financial records, documenting carrier charges, collecting unpaid balances, stopping repeat misuse, security logs, chargeback responses, or keeping order history accurate. When we no longer need the personal part, we remove it, reduce it, combine it into totals, or separate it from those records where practical.
Asking us to delete your data
Emailsupport@bitcoinshippinglabels.com and we'll handle the request within 30 days.
5. Who Else Sees It
A few outside companies are part of every order:
- Carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Canada Post): they need the label details to move your package. We follow carrier rules when creating labels and expect customers to do the same. Each carrier has its own privacy policy: USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Canada Post.
- Payment processor: receives only what it needs to confirm your crypto payment.
- Hosting and database providers: run the servers and databases this site lives on.
Nobody else gets your data unless they need it for delivering the service, processing a payment, support, security, or carrier-required handling.
5.1 What carriers do with shipment data
A carrier may need sender, recipient, package, customs, tracking, billing or claim information to create the label, move the package, send it back, correct an address, apply an adjustment, handle a delivery dispute, answer a support request, look into a carrier-account issue, or carry out other operational work it requires. Buying a label means you understand the carrier has to process this information to fulfil the shipment.
Once information is inside a carrier's system, that carrier's privacy policy and terms apply. We can't delete or change records held by a carrier, payment processor, hosting provider or other required third party. We can delete what we hold ourselves, unless we still need it for support, accounting, carrier operations, security, disputes, or legal compliance.
6. Cookies, Storage & Google Tags
Here's everything this site stores in your browser or loads from a third party:
- Session and sign-in storage: keeps you logged in and remembers an order in progress.
- Preference storage: remembers small settings, such as whether you've dismissed a tip.
- Google Ads conversion tag: tells us whether a visit from one of our Google ads led to a purchase. Google may set its own cookies when this tag loads. See how Google uses advertising cookies.
- Google Translate: if you use the translate button, Google's translation script loads to show the page in your language.
What we don't run:
- Facebook, TikTok or other social media pixels
- Retargeting tools that follow you around other websites
- Analytics that build a personal profile of you
You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site still works, though you may need to sign in again.
7. Your Rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your personal data
- Send you a copy in a machine-readable format
Just emailsupport@bitcoinshippinglabels.com
Sometimes we can't do all of it right away, for example while a shipment is still in progress, an order needs recovering, a refund is pending, a carrier billing adjustment is open, or we need the record for accounting, security, a dispute, abuse prevention, or another obligation that applies to the service. If that happens, we'll tell you what's holding it up where appropriate and apply your request to everything else we control.
8. What's in the Box Is Up to You
You decide what goes into a package. Bitcoin Shipping Labels doesn't pack, inspect, screen, open, store, pick up, or physically handle parcels. We work only with what you submit and what carriers and payment processors send back. So you're responsible for accurate shipment details, lawful contents, following carrier rules, destination eligibility, customs declarations, declared values, item descriptions, and any special handling a shipment needs.
9. Children
This service is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think a child has given us personal information, tell us and we'll delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
When our practices change, this page changes too, and the "Last updated" date at the top will show when. It's worth a quick look now and then.
